Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe From Scratch
This homemade pizza dough recipe will take your pizza nights to a whole new level. With this simple and versatile dough, you can create a crisp and chewy foundation for any toppings you desire.

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 11⁄4 cups warm water

Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix well. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in oil. Slowly stir until a rough dough starts to form. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for abou t8-10 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rise until it doubles in size3.
After the rise, gently punch the dough to release any air bubbles. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions for large pizzas or 4 equal portions for individual-sized pizzas. Shape each portion into a ball. Place the dough balls on a lightly floured surface, cover them, and let them rest for about 15-20 minutes for a second rise.
Preheat your oven to the highest temperature it can reach (usually around 500°F/260°C). Roll out each dough ball into desired thickness and size. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Add your favorite sauce, cheese, and toppings to the pizza.
BakBake the pizza in the preheated oven for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
