Directions
1. For the beef roulades from the oven recipe, preheat your oven to 200 degrees. While the oven is preheating, prepare the ingredients. Cut the onions, bacon slices and pickles into strips and set them aside.
2. Take your roulades and spread mustard on each side before seasoning them with salt and pepper. Place strips of bacon, onions and pickles on each roulade and roll them up tightly. Secure each roulade with kitchen twine or roulade pins.
3. Place your roulades in an ovenproof pan and sear them on each side until they are brown. Then add the beef broth and the tomato paste, and sprinkle the roulades with a little flour.
4. Place the pan in the preheated oven and let the roulades simmer for 90 minutes. Turn the roulades every 30 minutes to ensure they cook evenly on both sides.
5. Remove the pan from the oven and let the beef roulades rest for a few minutes before serving. You can serve the roulades with mashed potatoes or red cabbage. Enjoy your meal!
