Quick & Easy Basic Muffin
These delicious homemade muffins are the perfect treat! Moist, fluffy, and customizable with your favorite mix-ins, they are sure to delight everyone!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 Cup crystal sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 Cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 Cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, blueberries diced fruit nuts etc.

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line muffin tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a different bowl, whisk together butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients using a rubber spatula. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in your choice of mix-ins, such as chocolate chips or berries.
Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
Bake the muffins for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
