Tasty cheese sticks
These Cheese Sticks are perfect for a melted cheese craving. I have made them on several occasions for gatherings and parties, and they never fail to satisfy my guests. Their crunchy exterior combined with the soft, delicious melted cheese inside is simply irresistible. Plus, it's such an easy recipe to prepare and can be made in less than an hour.
Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry sheets
- 200 g Of mozzarella cheese or any other cheese that melts well
- 1 Egg (to paint the sticks)
- Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C. This will ensure that your Cheese Sticks cook evenly and efficiently.
Cut each sheet of puff pastry in two. Then, we cut the cheese into sticks about 2 cm thick that we will place along each piece of puff pastry. When you do this, try not to overfill it, as it can overflow and make a mess when it melts.
Roll the puff pastry tightly and press the edges to seal. Keep the edges tight to prevent the cheese from spilling out while cooking.
Beat the egg and brush each cheese stick with it to give it a golden, crispy finish.
Sprinkle them with sesame seeds if you prefer, they add an extra crunchy touch.
Place the Cheese Sticks on a baking sheet previously lined with baking paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Let them cool a little before serving to avoid getting burned by the hot cheese. But don't let them cool completely, as they are delicious when the cheese is still melted.
