  • 3 Green onions (sliced) Added to
  • 1 Cucumber (cut into thin strips) Added to
  • 4 tbls of Hoisin sauce Added to

For the Marinade:

  • 1 tablespoon of Five Spice Powder Added to
  • 2 tbls of honey Added to
  • 2 tbls of soy sauce Added to
  • 1 large piece of Ginger (finely chopped) Added to
  • 2 cloves Garlic (crushed) Added to

1. Step

Begin by marinating your duck. In a bowl, combine the five spice powder, honey, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic cloves. Mix thoroughly and rub the mixture all over the duck, both inside and out. Let it marinate in the fridge for at least an hour.

2. Step

Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Place the duck on a roasting rack and roast for about 1 and a half hours. Make sure to baste the duck with the marinade every 15 minutes to get a crispy skin.

After roasting, let the duck rest for about 15 minutes. Then, cut it into thin slices.

4. Step

To assemble the pancakes, spread a little hoisin sauce on each pancake. Add a few slices of duck, some cucumber strips, and sliced green onions.

5. Step

To finish, roll the pancakes and serve immediately.
