How to prepare beet juice
This beet juice recipe is one of my favorites because of its refreshing and sweet taste, but the best part is that it is also very healthy. Beets are a fantastic source of potassium and vitamin C, and adding the ginger and apple gives it a spicy and sweet touch that perfectly balances the earthy flavor of the beets. This juice is perfect for mid-morning or as a revitalizing drink after sports.
Ingredients
- 2 Medium beets
- 2 green apples
- 1 piece small ginger
- Water to taste (optional)

Directions
First, wash the beets thoroughly to remove any traces of soil. You can do this with a kitchen brush under cold water for a more effective result.
Peel the beets. Remember to do it with gloves to avoid the pigmentation they cause in the skin and to protect your hands from contact with possible traces of soil.
Cut the beets into not too large pieces so that they are easier to process in the juicer.
Wash the apples and cut them into quarters without removing the skin, as this contains many nutrients.
Peel the piece of ginger. Remember that the flavor of ginger is very strong, so I recommend starting with a small piece and adding more if you like a spicy touch.
Process the beets, apples and ginger in the juicer. If you don't have a juicer, you can use a blender, although you may need to add a little water to make it easier to blend.
Serve the juice immediately to take full advantage of its nutrients.
