- 1 kg Nettle
- 1 l water
- 500 g sugar
- 1 pcs lemon

1. Step
Pick up the nettle and rinse it well under running water.
2. Step
Pour 1 liter of water into a large pot and add the nettle.
3. Step
Let it cook for approximately 20 minutes.
4. Step
After cooking, strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cloth to prevent any impurities from getting into the syrup.
5. Step
Add the mixture back into the pot, add sugar and lemon juice.
6. Step
Do not boil, but heat while constantly stirring until the sugar dissolves.
7. Step
When the sugar is completely dissolved, the nettle syrup is ready.
8. Step
Pour it still hot into pre-prepared bottles and seal tightly.
