Roast chicken
Roast chicken with garlic, butter, and herbs, then baked to golden, crispy, and juicy deliciousness! This is the BEST roast chicken, and it is excellent for weekend or weeknight dinners because it is easy to cook and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 1 handful thyme
- 1 handful rosemary
- 1 garlic
- 1 clove peeled garlic
- 1 lemon
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives

Directions
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (thermostat 7). Combine the oil, thyme, rosemary, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Remove the skin of the breasts by folding the wings under the chicken. Rub the oil mixture into the flesh beneath the skin and the cavity and exterior of the bird. 2Rinse the cavity and outside of the chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. In the cavity, place the garlic cloves and lemon. Join the legs by tying them together—season with Salt and pepper. Place the chicken on the grill pan and turn it over. 1 hour of roasting. Remove the chicken from the oven and tilt it in the roasting pan to allow the juices to leave the cavity. Return the chicken to the oven and drizzle with the liquid.
Finally, allow 15 minutes for the chicken to rest in a serving dish. Cut up and serve with rice, fries, and other side dishes. Avoid eating the skin if you want to lose weight. Cook and have a good time.
