Directions
Begin by draining and pressing your tofu. Place the tofu block between two paper towels and put a heavy object on top for about 15 minutes to remove the excess water.
While the tofu is draining, make your marinade. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, green onions, and chili flakes.
Cut the tofu into square slabs or cubes, according to your choice. Place the tofu into the bowl with the marinade, making sure each piece is covered.
Let the tofu marinate for at least 2 hours, or better yet, overnight if you have the time.
After marinating, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius. Place the tofu pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Pour over any leftover marinade.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the tofu is golden brown and has absorbed most of the marinade.
Garnish with sesame seeds and more green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
